Who We Are

Established in 1961, Woodway are a successful family run business offering warning lighting and equipment, suppling everything from lightbars and sirens, to lighting masts and bespoke mast solutions. Having been a supplier to the Emergency Services for over 40 years, Woodway also supply to other markets such as highways, security, airside and utilities.

Even from the earliest days of operating as a garage and recovery company, Woodway have continually upheld their core business values of delivery quality products and the highest level of customer service, ensuring business integrity is maintained throughout.

Woodway are the UK’s exclusive distributor of Whelen products, joining forces with the Connecticut based company back in 1979, and continue to be the only licensed manufacturer of Whelen products outside the US. A further partnership was forged with Sepura in 2014, with Woodway selling these communication accessories to the UK’s Emergency Services. More recently, in 2018, Woodway became the exclusive distributor of Trakm8 telematics systems to Emergency Service fleets in the UK.

For the last 30 years, Woodway’s engineering team have worked tirelessly on developing new and innovative products to aid clients in their frontline efforts of safety, security and maintenance. The Night Owl range, designed and manufactured at Woodway’s Warwickshire based facilities, includes a selection of vehicle mounted mast systems offering high intensity lighting. Further accessories designed in-house include switch panels to support Whelen’s audible and visual warning systems, and a range of lighting mounting solutions to provide discrete and effective vehicle lighting solutions.
